CR4ZY Weekly Update #5

Jul 27, 2020

After a relatively long pause, the CR4ZY Weekly Update is back! This week, in CR4ZY Update #5, we’ve got a lot of news coming from our League of Legends, Dota 2 and CS:GO teams. So, let’s get to it!

League of Legends

If you haven’t seen or heard about our new League of Legends team, currently competing in the Esports Balkan League (EBL), then you’re in for a treat.

This young group of talented players has already exceeded all expectations for their performance at the EBL. They’re currently standing solid in first place with a perfect split (11-0)!

On top of that, two new videos involving the team were released. If you haven’t already seen them, be sure to check out DoubleAiM learning how to make a Big Mac from GallaSandalla, and the CR4ZY Gaming House Tour! The DoubleAiM Big Mac video is in Croatian only, but the CR4ZY Gaming House Tour has English subtitles.

Dota 2

Our Dota 2 team has only been on the up-and-up since the new Dota 2 update. They’re currently ranked #25 in the world on the ESL Rankings.

Additionally, our team placed 4th at OGADotaPIT Season 2: Americas, and are currently placing 4th in the group stage at The Great American Rivalry Division 1 Season 1.

If you thought that wasn’t great enough, yesterday we received the news that we’ve been invited to compete at ESL One Thailand 2020: Americas, starting on August 8th, 2020.

We promised that we would build a team that was capable of rising in the rankings consistently until they’re able to compete on a world-tier level like our previous team. Finally, after months on the grind, we’re seeing real progress.

Our CS:GO team is currently ranked #55 in the world on the HLTV Rankings.

Recently, we’ve been playing a lot of matches a day, at various tier-2/b-tier tournaments. We placed 3rd at cyberPRO Series #1 after an incredibly even, but relatively tough match against Moscow 5 Academy (end result 1-2). We also had the same result at Eden Esports’ Eden Arena: Malta Vibes – Week 4, after a similarly even and very close match against LDLC OL. Unfortunately, we lost to them 0-2 but managed to place 3rd after defeating Na’Vi Junior in the quarterfinal.

That’s all from us for this week, be sure to check back next week for a recap of the achievements and content coming from all of our teams. #gocr4zy!
