CR4ZY Weekly Update #7

Aug 11, 2020

The esports grind never stops, and we’re back with CR4ZY Weekly Update #7 to let you in on what we’ve been up to. Let’s get started!

League of Legends

After making it to the EU Masters with our extremely successful and impressive debut in the EBL Summer Split, our perfect streak was taken from us by SuppUp. They played well, and we made a few too many mistakes in the match, which resulted in our loss. GGs to SuppUp for their persistence and skill in this match!

Luckily, we won our semi-final match against Crvene Zvezde and made it to the Grand Final! The rematch of the Summer awaits. SuppUp, we’re coming for you.

On a lighter, more celebratory note, our EBL MVP Gabbo turned 21 last week! Hope you had a great birthday and got a little time to relax before returning to the grind.

To end the updates about our CR4ZY Gaming House boys, we have a treat for all of you with two hot new videos out on our YouTube Channel now! One is a video of stream highlights from DoubleAiM (in Serbian), and the other is an entertaining, educational, and impressively delicious video from Gabbo showing you how to make the perfect pizza (in English with Croatian subtitles). These are videos you don’t want to miss!

Dota 2

What about our Dota 2 squad in Canada, you may ask? Well, they’re still standing strong in the 20s of the ESL Rankings. They moved down one spot in the rankings (26), but are still fighting to make their way up the list.

On another note, we ended our run at The Great American Rivalry with a loss to Quincy Crew in the grand final, but secured a strong 2nd place! GGs guys!

Continuing with tournament news, our debut at ESL One Thailand: Americas against Thunder Predator resulted in a slim 1:2 loss with a near-comeback in the tail-end of round 3. In the end, the momentum Thunder Predator created early in round 3 was enough to stop our comeback attempt.

Regardless, we’re ready to take on Infamous tonight (August 11th) at 19:00 CET!

CS:GO

Our CS:GO boys are still on break, but even without competing for a week, and after taking some decay to our ranking points, we’ve maintained our spot in the top 50 HLTV world rankings (49th). What an achievement!

However… vacation can’t last forever, especially since we’ve been invited to compete in both IEM New York 2020: CIS Closed Qualifiers, and Nine to Five #3! We won’t be competing with our full roster, as both DemQQ and 7ox1c are still on break. Therefore, we’ve decided to compete with two stand-ins (nat1ve & THRONE). We think we’ll be able to entertain you all, and hopefully achieve some great results.

These two tournaments are going to be interesting, and we can’t wait to see the team compete again!

That’s all for CR4ZY Weekly Update #7, stay tuned for more news next week and make sure to watch the matches. They’ll definitely be interesting!
