New CS:GO Roster Led by Veteran Johnta

Feb 19, 2020

It’s finally time to present the new CS:GO roster that will be competing under the CR4ZY banner! After achieving amazing results last year, it’s time to start a new journey with a young and promising squad consisting of Ukrainian and Belarusian players led by the experienced coach Ivan “Johnta” Shevtsov. We believe that with our support, and Johnta’s vast knowledge and experience, we’ll be able to help the team grow and reach the top competitive level.

The team that was competing for the past months as Project X has officially become part of the CR4ZY organization by signing long-term contracts. We are very happy and excited about the opportunity to work with such a talented coach and skilled players. With our know-how and support, we truly believe that they’ll become one of the most promising top 20 teams in the world.

Our focus will be on helping the players develop inside and outside of the game as they become not just better players but also individuals. Amongst other things, the team will be working with sports psychologist Luka Škrinjarić and his team, as well as other experts in different fields in order to achieve their set goals.

Finding a new team was a difficult task, and complex decision, but once we got in touch with Johnta we saw that he shares all the core values as we as an organization which made the decision much easier. Our team’s goal is to qualify for the 2nd Major of 2020, and secure The New Challenger status. We already did it once, now it’s time to exceed that result.

Our team spent three weeks in bootcamp at Relog Media, located in Belgrade, Serbia and has already shown some big improvement. In time, they’ll become one of the best CIS teams out there and one of the best in the world. We would also like to introduce ourselves to the CIS community, a region that has always produced amazing CS:GO players and fans. We will make you proud. Meet the team:

Igor “dERZKIY” Radosavlevich
Roma “dOBRIY” Rusak
Sergey “Sergiz” Atamanchuk
Alexandr “Psycho” Zlobin
Dimitry “SENSEi” Shvorak

Ivan “Johnta” Shevtsov

Ivan “Johnta” Shevtsov, “I’m very happy to start this new journey with CR4ZY! We share the vision on how a CS team should be run and I’m sure we will build a successful team with players we signed. Hard work has already started for us and I’m looking forward to our future.”

Alen Šola, Head of Esports at CR4ZY: “After a very turbulent 2019 with lots of ups and downs, we’ve decided to set our own pace for 2020 and the following years by bringing together this very talented group of players led by someone as experienced as Johnta. Although there is lots of work ahead of us before we get to where we want to be, this feeling of redoing the whole process once more is as challenging as it is exciting and I’m more than happy to go through it surrounded by six people whose level of dedication matches their new team name.”
